The darling of Chiefs fans, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, has shared what the club has agreed on after the squad met for the first time in 2022.

CHIEFS’ NGCOBO SHARES TEAM PLANS

Chatting to the club’s media this week, the Amakhosi development product was asked to share what the spirit is like after the Christmas break.

“I think we closed the 2021 calendar on a high as a team. We were working very hard, we were working for one another and we were helping one another.

“So, I think we performed well as a team and we are looking forward to keeping the same tempo and same attitude,” Chiefs’ Ngcobo added.

So we all know it is all about one day at a time, especially during a break. What are the clubs’ expectations?

“Going forward, we want to do well. We want to fight and make sure we win more games so that we can get closer to number one. We just have to work hard.”

The Pietermaritzburg-born star concluded the chat by sharing his thoughts on winning the DStv Premiership December Goal of the Season award.

“I think it was a good goal. We created the goal as a team. We circulated the ball. It was very good, with Njabulo Blom finding me in the half-spaces. I was able to turn and finish. It was a team goal,” he concluded.

The hipster club felt that Ngcobo’s goal simply won because of Amakhosi’s large following that was reflected in the voting. Otherwise, Cape Town City’s Mpho Makola scored the ‘real goal of the month.’ Read the full story here.
