Saturday’s DStv Premiership match between Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town City has been postponed, The South African can exclusively reveal!

Amakhosi had written to the PSL to have their game postponed due to Covid-19 that hit Naturena this week.

Chiefs said in a statement that they have had to temporarily close the Village in Naturena to manage the situation.

According to reports, Chiefs only have 13 players available for the match, and it appears they made a strong case to their appeal.

Now, sources known to The South African have confirmed that the match will not be going ahead as planned.

At this stage, it is unclear if Amakhosi have been granted their wish to have all their December fixtures postponed.
