The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has released the first batch of fixtures for the 2021/22 season.

The much-anticipated season in which Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking for a fifth-straight title, will kick off on Friday, 20 August.

For many the first thing they looked for following the release was the date of the first Soweto derby between rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

That match will take place on Saturday, 6 November at the FNB Stadium with kick-off set for 15:30.
