The interest in the 29-year-old attacker follows after his five goals and seven assists in 22 games for Stellies this season. With the two clubs’ growing business relationship, Mendieta could easily become a Glamour Boy.

According to iDiskiTimes, Amakhosi have indicated an interest in signing Mendieta from Stellenbosch. The report added to suggest that the Cape Winelands club will be interested in the deal if Amakhosi’s offer meets expectations.
