The reports are everywhere. Mduduzi Mdantsane is headed to the mighty Kaizer Chiefs to become a Glamour Boy – but he is yet to sign.

Last week was a good one for Kaizer Chiefs supporters. Amakhosi completed a second signing for next season, but Mduduzi Mdantsane is not one of them yet.

KAIZER CHIEFS AGREE TERMS TO SIGN MDUDUZI MDANTSANE

As reported by the South African website last week, the 28-year-old attacking midfielder from Cape Town City is on the brink of becoming a Glamour Boy.

The report said Mdandantse, Cape Town City, and Kaizer Chiefs have agreed on terms. Several news posts around the country are calling Mdantsane a Chiefs player. This is false.

The parties have simply agreed on terms; the report did not confirm Mdantsane as an official new signing. Agreeing on terms simply refers to agreements on salary and contract-length figures, it does not mean a contract has been tabled and signed.

FORMER AMAKHOSI STAR MOVES TO AMERICA

Leonardo Castro’s exit from Kaizer Chiefs was one of the big surprises last season, but careers have to move on. The Colombian has now found a new home.

The 33-year-old’s move was confirmed by his new club Greenville Triumph who play in the third tier in the United States of America.

“We’re delighted we’ve been able to secure Leo’s services”, the club’s head coach John Harkes said.
