DANIEL AKPEYI MISSES SEKHUKHUNE UNITED DEAL AFTER KAIZER CHIEFS EXIT

As The South African website previously reported, Akpeyi was nearly unveiled as a new Sekhukhune player before the deal fell through in the final process.

According to a subsequent report, the former Chiefs number one Akpey was spotted training with Swallows FC, but has since traveled to Gqeberha.

CHIPPA DEAL IMMINENT? 

The newest report has now revealed that the 36-year-old goalie could re-sign for the club that offered him his PSL break.

The Nigerian international is set to replace Sipho Chaine who left Chippa for Orlando Pirates on deadline day. 

“Chippa, United are looking at the potential of signing Daniel Akpeyi after the deadline day sale of Sipho Chaine to Orlando Pirates,” iDiskiTimes reported.
