Baroka defender Tebogo Moerane has attracted interest from Amakhosi, according to SoccerLaduma, and the club is also monitoring Chippa goalkeeper Stanley Nwabili. These two players are the latest names added to an increasingly long shortlist. Last week, according to The Citizen, 28-year-old goal-scorer Walter Bwalya is available on a free transfer.

“Kaizer Chiefs is reportedly eyeing former Nkana Football Club striker, Walter Bwalya, who is currently a free agent,” the outlet said. The same outlet also has it on good authority that Chiefs won’t be extending the contract of 33-year-old Sifiso Hlanti. Stellenbosch left-back Fawaaz Basadien is a long-term target and somebody the Chiefs board sees as the ideal replacement. They’re also looking at Khanyisa MayoWalter Musona and Salim Magoola, according to reports emerging this week and last.
