Kaizer Chiefs handed fresh hope in pursuit of PSL legend!

Kaizer Chiefs have been handed fresh hope in the race to sign Mamelodi Sundowns star Andile Jali.

Jali has been linked with a move away from the Brazilians and the reported Amakhosi target’s future has taken yet another twist.

According to the latest reports, Andile Jali is NOT training with Mamelodi Sundowns at the moment!

His agent, Mike Makaab, confirmed the player is stuck in limbo at the club and isn’t being allowed to train at Chloorkop.

Kaizer Chiefs have struggled to find an effective balance in midfield since the departure of Njabulo Blom.

A player with the pedigree of Andile Jali will undoubtedly make Chiefs incredibly stronger in the middle of the park.

And given his current situation at Mamelodi Sundowns, a move to Naturena remains a serious possibility!

Kaizer Chiefs given fresh Andile Jali hope

“Andile Jali is not at training at the moment,” Makaab told FARPost.

“He [Jali] might return to the club soon, but the decision will be taken by the club.”

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs returned to Nedbank Cup action this evening when they hosted Casric Stars at the FNB Stadium.

The Nedbank Cup is realistically Arthur Zwane’s final chance of getting any silverware this season and his side successful navigated a tricky clash against Stars.

The Motsepe Foundation Championship title contenders made life difficult for Zwane’s side but goals by Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana and Ashley Du Preez were enough for the vital victory.

Casric Stars weren’t going down without a fight and Kgomotso Mosadi levelled matters in the 61st minute.
