Has anyone in Gauteng seen the former Kaizer Chiefs star Lebogang Manyama? He might have a future in Cape Town.

Former Kaizer Chiefs forward Lebogang Manyama should start training for his life. Cape Town City will wait for him to prove what he can still do in pre-season.

Following an unsuccessful trial stint in Observatory with City last season, a freak injury forced the 32-year-old from Tembisa and Alexandra to return to Gauteng for medical teatment.

According to City’s chairman John Comitis, Manyama will be allowed to convince the Citizens he still has the quality and fitness to compete next season.

“He was training with us [earlier this season], he’s in a rehab programme, when he is alright, he’s gonna come back and train with us as well,” Comitis told FARPost‘s Sinethemba Sithole.

When asked if they would be interested in re-signing the attacking midfielder, Comitis said, “Yes, if he is fit and good to go.

“He’s gonna come to the pre-season and we’ll see how he manages,” the former Ajax Cape Town boss concluded.

NEW AMAKHOSI DEFENDER CONFIRMS MOVE TO NATURENA

In other news, Chiefs have to organise a new parking lot at Naturena. Thatayaone Ditlhokwe is coming to start his career as a Glamour Boy.

“So I don’t think there’s pressure that can come more than what I already passed through.

“As a player from Botswana, my ambition was to come and play in South Africa, then do my level best and come out of South Africa, do my best in each and every game, and then leave South Africa; that’s my aim,” he added.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi have also secured another central defender in Given Msimango.
