The Burundi striker has given a good account of himself during his trial stint with Chiefs, scoring in a number of friendlies for the Soweto giants.

Now, Zwane said while Bimenyimana has done well since his arrival, as the technical team, they are still undecided on whether or not to sign him.

Zwane revealed that they are looking for a mobile striker and not just someone who will sit in and around the opposition penalty box and wait for the supply.

Although the Chiefs technical team is yet to decide on Bimenyimana, Zwane said, at this point, no striker is better than him.

Nonetheless, Chiefs are happy to wait and take their time before deciding on whether or not Bimenyimana should be given a contract.

If not, Zwane said Chiefs will use the advantage given to them by the PSL to sign new players as the transfer window closes on 27 September.

ZWANE SAYS KAIZER CHIEFS ARE UNDECIDED ON BONFILS-CALEB BIMENYIMANA

“Look, he has done well, to be quite honest. We are still undecided as to whether we are going to bring him on or if we are still looking, because we are looking for a certain type of striker with the way we want to play and the way we are going to play in future,” Zwane told reporters.

“We can’t just have someone who will sit inside the box. Yes, he is very mobile and he is comfortable on the ball, but we are looking at other qualities as well. If we can get one better than him, then we might go for that.”

“But at the moment, there is no one better than him while we are still looking. I think the league has also given us the opportunity by extending the (transfer window) deadline. So, we will capitalize on that. We will keep hunting until we find one.”
