Kaizer Chiefs transfer news: How many of their targets will Amakhosi get?

Kaizer Chiefs are linked with no fewer than FIVE players in this transfer window, but how many of these targets will they get?

Kaizer Chiefs are linked with no fewer than FIVE players in this transfer window, but how many of these targets will they get?

For weeks now, Amakhosi had been linked with Siyethemba Sithebe and Victor Letsoalo from AmaZulu and Royal AM respectively.

SuperSport United duo of Sipho Mbule and Teboho Mokoena have also been linked with possible moves to Chiefs.

There is also Abubeker Nassir who is currently with the Ethiopian national team at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

HOW MANY OF THESE STARS COULD END UP AT KAIZER CHIEFS?

SIPHO MBULE

For months now, Mbule to Chiefs have rumours have been doing the rounds but there is Mamelodi Sundowns who also want to sign him.

And with Sundowns in the picture and reported to have made huge strides in securing his services coupled with SuperSport’s reluctance to sell, Amakhosi’s chances of signing him are minimal.

TEBOHO MOKOENA

Mokoena has more than just two teams interested in his services – Chiefs, Sundowns and an unnamed club from the United Arab Emirates.

SuperSport’s asking price for Mokoena could be a stumbling block for Chiefs, and that would leave Sundowns in pole position to sign him.

SIYETHEMBA SITHEBE

Sithebe’s deal to Chiefs is as good as done after it emerged that the player has already signed a pre-contract with the Soweto giants.

However, what’s unclear is whether or not Sithebe will join Chiefs before the end of January or when his contract with AmaZulu expire.

VICTOR LETSOALO

Reports suggest Letsoalo is in Johannesburg, and that talks between Royal AM and Chiefs are ongoing.

Chiefs appear to be leading the race to sign Letsoalo who clearly has made up his mind about leaving Royal AM and joining them in this transfer window.
