Kaizer Chiefs could miss out on TS Galaxy captain Given Msimango who has now signed a new long-term deal with Tim Sukazi’s team.

Kaizer Chiefs could miss out on TS Galaxy captain Given Msimango who has now signed a new long-term deal with Tim Sukazi’s team.

According to the club, Msimango will stay with TS Galaxy at least until June 2025, meaning whoever wants him will have to buy him out of his contract.

Msimango had a year left on his contract with TS Galaxy, and reports of him being wanted by Chiefs could be the reason the club moved swiftly to offer him a new deal.

And with his contract now ending in 2025, this could mean TS Galaxy offered Msimango an improved three-year deal or a new two year deal which will be effective from July 2023.

Msimango, one of the longest-serving members of TS Galaxy, expressed his delight at renewing his contract with the club, saying he feels he’s where he is wanted and needed.

“I’m happy about the contract extension, I’m a professional footballer at the end of the day,” Msimango told iDiski Times.

“I am where I’m wanted and appreciated so I will never ever in my life force a move to a situation or a club that does not require the services.

“So, I feel like I’m where I’m wanted and needed, and I think this is where I will excel.”
