ICYMI: RUMOUR WRAP for Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates

Kaizer Chiefs to use an internal midfield solution?

One fan on Twitter has done some thinking outside of the box, and mentioned the name of Reeve Frosler as a midfield alternative. The comments in that thread are pretty mixed, but the majority of the replies are disgruntled Chiefs fans demanding the club buys a brand new player for that position. Fair enough?

Frosler has prior experience in midfield

When he was still a Bidvest Wits player, Reeve Frosler played a number of minutes in the engine room. Frosler, now 25, signed for Chiefs from the now-defunct Wits in 2019. The Gqeberha-born right-back can operate in both full-back positions and higher up the pitch on either flank. We also now know he’s an emergency backup option in central midfield. He’s certainly a valuable guy to have around the place at Naturena.

Is this a workable short-term solution or would you also shout this Twitter user down in the comments for making the suggestion?
