Thanks to a series of updates we know that Kaizer Chiefs will take to the field against Sekhukhune United ending their streak of no-shows.

Kaizer Chiefs suffered yet more COVID-19 positives this week swelling to 48 the total number, however, they will have enough players available to field a team.

Here we try to predict how Kaizer Chiefs will line up against Sekhukhune United on Sunday.

Who will start for COVID-hit Kaizer Chiefs?

Indications are that Nigerian stopper Daniel Akpeyi has a clean bill of health and is ready to take his place between the sticks, though the data is incomplete.

Kaizer Chiefs have kept the names of players infected with COVID-19 under wraps making the task of predicting the team but Arthur Zwane has given some clues in a recent interview.

Depleted at left-back we expect to see Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya given a shot at redemption in the fullback role.

On the other flank, Ramahlwe Mphahlele should hold onto his place in the XI if he is not among the infected.

Latest soccer news.

Fringe centre back Siyabonga Ngezana is set to startalongside either Eric Mathoho or Daniel Cardoso.

Cole Alexander is suspended which means we are likely to see Kearyn Baccus and Akumu Agay team up to hold down the fort in the middle of the park.

We expect Bernard Parker to be named in the team, however we feel it will be in midfield with a rejigged attack accomodating a returning player.

Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly will take up their places in a three-pronged attack if healthy.

Leonardo Castro looks set to return to action after months on the sidelines, with the striker back in the country and back in training.
