Former Kaizer Chiefs man to extend contract at rivals

“He signed a very short contract when he joined but since he came to the team, he has done very well and his experience is vital for the team.” an insider told SoccerLaduma.

“That’s why management wants to extend his stay for at least another year. They don’t want to distract him at the moment because everyone is focusing on the remaining games in the league.

“Once that is achieved, they will sit down with him and iron a way forward. But I can assure you they want to keep Akpeyi for next season.”

Amakhosi take decision on Bimenyimana?

“It’s pretty disappointing how the coach told Caleb that he will be gone at the end of the season. If that’s the case, you call a player into the office and explain your decision to him privately,” an un-named Kaizer Chiefs player told FARPost.

“It’s a bit inappropriate to say it in front of teammates. They were not there when the club brought the player. It gets us as players wondering if our coach would ever stand for us to protect us.”
