Arthur Zwane’s Kaizer Chiefs will be desperate to return to winning ways after dropping points in their previous two matches.

For Chippa United, survival is the order of the day. The Chilli Boys are in 15th position on the log standings, one point above Maritzburg United.

Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Kaizer Chiefs suffer major injury blow

Kaizer Chiefs will have to tackle the remainder of the season without their stand-in-captain.

Keagan Dolly will play no part in the grand finale of this season due to an injury he picked up against Sekhukhune United in last weekend’s loss.

The Glamour Boys are competing for a place in Africa and have a huge Nedbank Cup semi-final against rivals Orlando Pirates ahead.

“We have players who are not going to be available for this one. A notable one will be Keagan Dolly, who is going to be out until the end of the season.” Arthur Zwane told the Kaizer Chiefs website.

I don’t give up easily – Zwane

“I am one person that doesn’t give up too easily. This is football and anything can still happen at any given time.” the Kaizer Chiefs coach told IOL.

We dropped points today, I am disappointed. I know we could have done better. And ja, it’s one of those things.

“But you are never going to know what’s going to happen because everyone is fighting to be in the top eight, avoid relegation and we are fighting to finish in a better position.

“So there are literally no easy games at this time of the season. It’s a worrying factor – if we keep conceding goals. I think Kaizer Chiefs had it covered but unfortunately the ball hit Siya’s boot and fell in their path, and they converted.”
