Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly extended the contract of one of the club’s top performers this season.

After starting the campaign as the club’s third choice goalkeeper, Bruce Bvuma leapfrogged Itumeleng Khune and Brandon Petersen into pole position at Naturena.

In fact, Bvuma has started the last four matches for the Amakhosi and reports suggest he’s been rewarded for his impressive form.

“Both the club’s management and technical team were happy with Bruce’s performances hence his contract has been extended.” a source told GOAL.

“He was offered a new two-year deal which he accepted. So, he is definitely staying put at Chiefs for at least two more seasons.”

In other news, former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Cole Alexander has reportedly returned to South Africa after concluding a deal with Polokwane City!

The 34-year-old midfielder joined Swedish Helsingborgs IF after his departure from the Glamour Boys.

However his stint in Europe lasted just six months with reports suggesting he has signed a new deal with Limpopo side Polokwane City!

Alexander has made over 280 appearances in the PSL for a host of clubs scoring 16 goals and assisting 11 more and will bring some healthy experience to Rise and Shine.
