At 21 years old, Samkelo Zwane isn’t necessarily ready to be playing week in, week out. Right now, it’s difficult to see many viable central midfield options for Chiefs in the 22-27 age bracket which could help the Glamour Boys bridge that gap. Aside from this guy…

Rivaldo Coetzee to Kaizer Chiefs would make sense

The elegant Sundowns man is still only 26, but it feels as though he’s been around forever. He’s been with the Brazilians for five-and-a-half years now, so perhaps a change of scenery could do him good. Injuries have plagued Rivaldo in recent times though, and that will undoubtedly be something for Amakhosi to consider. Coetzee hasn’t played a single DStv Premiership match in 2022-23.

This would be a massive gamble for the head coach, but things have reached the desperation stage. Zwane’s job might depend on it. What do you think, Amakhosi fans? Is this a stupid suggestion? Do let us know in the comments.
