AmaZulu look set to beat Kaizer Chiefs to one of the Amakhosi’s major attacking transfer targets ahead of next season!

Kaizer Chiefs were dealt yet another blow after one of their transfer target’s agents confirmed that a potential move has fallen through at the eleventh hour!

The Glamour Boys were reportedly making serious progress in their quest to land a striker at the end of the current season however things have taken a turn for the worst!

Cameroonian PSL star Bienvenu Eva Nga was tipped said to be on the verge of signing for Kaizer Chiefs however his agent has since confirmed that the club has failed to meet his personal terms, meaning the deal is now called off!

“Yes, the deal is off, we couldn’t agree on personal terms and as things stand, it doesn’t look like Eva Nga will be going to Kaizer Chiefs as initially planned,” Eva Nga’s representative Charles Domingoea told iDiski Times.

AmaZulu to beat Amakhosi to Eva Nga’s signature?

According to further reports, Eva Nga is set to join fellow PSL side AmaZulu from Chippa United, at the expense of Kaizer Chiefs.

“According to Siya sources, AmaZulu are believed to be closing on the star, and appear to be in a two-horse race with Kaizer Chiefs for the Chippa United striker.” a SoccerLaduma report read.

“His form has certainly caught the attention of clubs in the DStv Premiership, with AmaZulu believed to be working hard behind the scenes to ensure he is wearing their jersey by the time the 2022/23 kicks off.”

The Cameroonian striker who was originally lured to South Africa by Gavin Hunt who was in charge of the now defunct Bidvest Wits has 20 goals and two assists in 76 matches since arriving in South Africa in 2020.
