CHIEFS CHOPPING AND CHANGING

The most recent transfer window saw no fewer than nine new faces arrive at Naturena. However, a few of those brand-new signings could be departing the club by January already. There are rumours that any of Christian Saile, Jasond Gonzalez and Ranga Chivaviro could all be sold or released. Senior stars like Siyethemba Sithebe, Sifiso Hlanti and Keagan Dolly are unlikely to sign new contracts, while all three senior goalkeepers at the club are in the final year of their contracts.

WHO’S BOLD ENOUGH TO MANAGE KAIZER CHIEFS?

Cavin Johnson, now in interim charge, will revert to his Head of Academy role once the club finds a permanent boss. The question is, who will that man be? The newest name thrown into the ring is that of Belgian Sven Vandenbroeck. Who will be brave enough to steer this ship in the right direction? Ruud Krol, Ernst Middendorp and Muhsin Ertugral are all names who have also been linked to the role.
