Kaizer Chiefs and Pitso Mosimane are destined to be together one day. Or are they?
It seems to be an annual thing that Chiefs get linked with Pitso Mosimane and Amakhosi fans get excited about the prospect of him joining the club. Pitso Mosimane is backing current interim Chiefs boss Cavin Johnson to get the full-time job. A number of big names have been thrown into the hat for the top job at Naturena, including that of Mosimane. Jingles believes Johnson has all the experience required to excel. The duo worked together at Al Ahly
“Coach Cavin Johnson is the head of youth at Kaizer Chiefs and he is just filling in (as the head coach), we all know that and he said it himself,” said Mosimane in a press conference organized by the South African Football Journalists’ Association.
“We can’t talk about his role as senior coach when he is at the youth because that is probably what he wants, I can’t on his behalf.
“Maybe we need to ask him, after working with me and getting all that he has earned at Al Ahly with us, playing against Bayern Munich and all those teams. Is it good is good enough for him to succeed.”
