Kaizer Chiefs fans are desperate for the club to beef up their squad during the ongoing January transfer window.

Arthur Zwane’s side are struggling to get going and are well behind in the DStv Premiership title race.

But instead of signing these two big name South African players, Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly REJECTED them!

Kaizer Chiefs reject two big name players

According to reports, Chiefs opted against signing both Pule Mmodi and Kamohelo Mokotjo.

Mokotjo was linked with a blockbuster move to Kaizer Chiefs however reports suggest Chiefs opted against signing him. He was then snapped up by Sekhukhune United.

Kaizer Chiefs have rejected an initial proposal to sign Bafana Bafana international midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo, who is a free agent.” an SABC SPORT report read.

“According to sources, Chiefs are reluctant to sign a player who is over 30 given the mandate by the club.”

As reported by The South African website, The Glamour Boys also turned down the option of signing Bafana Bafana star Pule Mmodi!

Legendary Kaizer Chiefs defender Eric Mathoho is willing to stay at the Glamour Boys despite his lack of game-time according to reports.

‘Tower’ has played just ONE minute of action this season at Naturena. Arthur Zwane has opted to field Zitha Kwinika, Edmilson Dove and Siyabonga Ngezana ahead of him in defence.

The 33-year-old is free to sign a pre-contract elsewhere given the fact that his contract at Chiefs comes to an end at the end of the season.

New reports however suggest Mathoho is willing to give Chiefs first preference on his immediate future!
