This Kaizer Chiefs legend is CONFIDENT he will coach Amakhosi

This is rare. No former Kaizer Chiefs player, except for this one, has confidently said he will coach the PSL giants in the future.

This should be written down. Kaizer Chiefs’ former star Willard Katsande has promised himself and the club’s followers he will coach Amakhosi in the future.

So, how did this whole chat come about? Katsande revealed what we call can a manifestation during an interview on YouTube.

The show’s host asked the star known as ‘Salt ‘n Pepper’ if he would ever return to Kaizer Chiefs in the future.

The Zimbabwean star said that fans always ask the same question on social media. Though he is yet to coach at 35, Katsande says he’ll coach Amakhosi in the future.

“I bump into many supporters and they send me messages,” he said  Prime Sports WIth Mahlatse.

“I say I will come back one day but in a different role. I always tell them, you know what? I will be back, but in a different role”

The host replied to ask: “Would you want to go back to coach Kaizer Chiefs?”

Katsande blushed before saying “Yeah, yeah, I need to go back. I need to go give back to Kaizer Chiefs.”

“I need to share my experience with the younger ones. I need to aim higher. When I go there I will go to the senior team,” Katsande continued.

“I sit down and analyse the senior games and tell myself, you know what? I can do this, I can do that,” Katsande added.

“So it goes with the passion, what I have in my heart. [He pats his hand on his heart several times.]

“I will go back to Chiefs, and I will coach it one day,” he added with his eyes closed.

KATSANDE DESCRIBES HARD LIFE BEFORE PSL SUCCESS

The 35-year-old star, who now plays his football at Sekhukhune United, is known to be from Zimbabwe’s Mutoko, but not many of us knew exactly how he came up as a kid there.

Katsande was asked to describe his family background during the times he was dreaming about his future.

The man known as ‘Salt n Pepper’ was asked how he was able to stay motivated after endless failures during his early football days.
