Amakhosi currently have the PSL’s three HIGHEST-paid players, all in their current squad.
However, their PSL campaign did not reflect this player value this past season. Chiefs succumbed to their FOURTH successive loss and have watched their CAF Champions League hopes slip out of their fingers. Shockingly, ONE top-earner may not stay at Naturena next season.

Dolly is the highest-paid DStv Premiership player – even beating the leagues top goal-scorer Peter Shalulile. His whopping R1.45 MILLION is truly staggering – imagine his house and cars!

2) SAMIR NURKOVIC – R950 000

Nurkovic is still one of the top-earners in the PSL, taking home nearly R1 million every month!
The Serbian striker takes home R950 000 every month, despite missing large chunks of the season with Amakhosi. There is a big chance that he may leave Naturena next season to join Pitso Mosimane and Percy Tau.

Meaning, Chiefs would free up a large part of their available funds for potential future stars.
The next man on the list was once the highest-paid player in the PSL.
3) KHAMA BILLIAT – R830 000

Billiat is still contracted to Amakhosi until June 2023. Meaning, they have secured his services until the end of the next DStv Premiership. His services come at quite the cost – a staggering R830 000 per month!
Next year’s PSL could be Billiat’s last – and Amakhosi will want to see him finish his career at Naturena.

He was excellent at Mamelodi Sundowns and showed glimpses of his true potential this season. He scores important goals and when Dolly and him are on song then very few teams can stop them.
