The PSL have confirmed when they will be making a ‘special announcement’ on Kaizer Chiefs‘ appeal to have their DStv Premiership matches postponed.

On Monday, Dr. Irvin Khoza and the PSL will be announcing their decision on Amakhosi’s request to have their two recent fixtures postponed.
According to iDiskiTimes, Khoza will hold a press conference at 11:30 on SuperSport 2.

Chiefs did not show against Cape Town City or Golden Arrows after most of their squad and staff tested positive for Covid. The problem is that their opponents did show up and the PSL did not suspend either match.
In fact, this ill be their first official public statement since Amakhosi’s appeal.
Stuart Baxter and his men will be hoping to have both matches postponed. Chiefs will be making a return to action in the PSL this weekend when they take on Sekhukhune United on Sunday, 12 December.

This is a massive game for Amakhosi who need to get their season back on track after all these disruptions. United currently occupy second position, the position Chiefs held before missing their last two games.
One thing is for certain, Chiefs need these points regardless of the outcome on Monday.
