Happy Mashiane is ironically rather unhappy at Chiefs, according to Goal.

The midfielder went from a star filled with promise and potential to a squad player that hardly sees any game time.

Since his red card in the crucial CAF Champions League final between Kaizer Chiefs and Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly, Mashiane has been dropped to the reserves more often than not.

Mashiane needs to put himself first, he is a very talented young footballer.

Now, it is about putting his love for football first. Several DStv Premiership sides would benefit from having the youngster. He is hardworking, skillful and energetic and will be an asset to most sides.

Stuart Baxter may have to look at bringing in several new midfielders and strikers at this rate.

That is, if he has kept his job at Naturena come the end of the season.
