Philly games sensation Mfundo Vilakazi has been kicked out Kaizer Chiefs squad with immediate effect.

According to SoccerLaduma, Vilakazi has been banished and sent back to the Chiefs’ under-17 squad.
Just a few months ago, he was the Philly games sensation. Making a name for himself as he burst onto the scene in the competition and earned his call-up to Amakhosi’s Diski side.

He was even flourishing at training with the Siya crew (from the same publication) reporting that he was excelling. With all the talk around him being the next big star, the crew confirmed that he really is the real deal.
Now, he has been sent back to the under 17’s. Currently, the reason for this has not been disclosed and it comes as a surprise.

Vilakazi scored off the bench on his debut for Amakhosi reserves and everything was running smoothly until something happened a few days ago…
It is unclear what occurred but he was playing for the u17 side against Aces this past weekend.

Vela Khumalo feels that it is best to keep him away from the rest of the squad for the time being.
