Modise not only questioned Chiefs and Pirates lack of moment in the recent transfer window but..

He went on to throw shade at the Soweto giants!

The Mamelodi Sundowns legend had this to say on iDiskiTimes:

“Maybe chances are they don’t want to compete. Also Sundowns have been dominant for the past 10 years,”

“Maybe the question is do they want to compete with [Sundowns]? We’re busy saying ‘teams want to compete’, but why are they selling,” Modise stated.

Mamelodi Sundowns secured the signing of Teboho Mokoena and Surprise Ralani.

Bolstering a squad that is already leaps and bound ahead of the rest of the league while the Soweto giants made no new signings. Modise has a good point in terms of questioning Amakhosi and the Bucs recent lack of movement.

However, saying that maybe they don’t want to compete will not sit well with the likes of Stuart Baxter and Mandla Ncikazi.

These are two very competitive coaches in charge of two clubs that want to do well. They recently won the DSTV Compact Cup together, conquering SA and earning some much-needed silverware in the process.
