Kaizer Chiefs are now closer than ever to signing Bafana Bafana midfielder, Teboho Mokoena – exciting times indeed.

SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews confirmed that he will be letting Mokoena leave for a big-money move.

The SuperSport and Bafana Bafana midfielder is open to negotiations between clubs as long as it the money that talks! Money is certainly no issue for Kaizer Chiefs who currently boast the three highest-paid players in the PSL.

“Yes, we have given Tebza (Mokoena) that commitment, that this can be the last season with us, and he can get the big money move that he’s looking for and that he’s worked hard for since he was 16 years old,”

“Also quite honestly when we can get a good return, so, for us, that time is now and we are not going to hold Tebza back, we want him, and his move wherever he transpires to be, to be something that motivates other young players in the club to stick with us for the years that Tebza stuck with us, and earn big money moves when the time comes“, Mathews reported on iDiskiTimes.

One thing is for certain, whether it’s Amakhosi or The Brazilians, big-money will have to be spent for him.

Chiefs are expected to fight for Mokoena’s signature during the January transfer window.
