SWALLOWS PLAYERS HAVING A GOOD SEASON

Kagiso Malinga, 28, central attacking midfielder – The former SuperSport United star has four goals in the last six games.

Tlakusani Mthethwa, 29, central midfielder – The long-serving Swallows man has been a relentless midfield workhorse in the mold of Njabulo Blom.

Lindokhule Mtshali, 24, central midfielder – Every coach has played Mtshali as a winger until Ernst Middendorp moved him to the number six. The former Golden Arrows star has been so superb it’s baffling why he wasn’t awarded the Man of the Match award against Chippa United last weekend. It was one of the most outstanding performances in the PSL this season.

Tawanda Macheke, 26, Central striker – The former Maritzburg United giant number nine is yet to score in three games, but the manner in which he has been dominating entire defensive lines on his own is sublime, Caleb Bimenyimana and Christian Saile should easily feel impressed by his work.
