MASANGO REVEALS AMAKHOSI’S ROLE IN HIS EDUCATION

In other Chiefs news, do we all remember Mandla Masango? Of course, we should, thanks to his attacking role in Kaizer Chiefs’ two league titles.

This is what we love to read. Former Chiefs star Masango has revealed how Amakhosi funded him toward a valuable formal education.

The Kwaggafontein-born winger first began his early career at Walter Stars and Platinum Star, before arriving at the big time in 2007.

Masango scored 14 goals and 11 assists in 125 games for Chiefs. After winning two PSL titles, the MTN8, and a Telkom Knockout trophy, the player nicknamed “Bullet” was off to Denmark to play for Randers.

Making a rare experience in the media this week, the 33-year-old said he is grateful to Chiefs for the schooling he earned.

“I am what I am because of Kaizer Chiefs,” Masango said to the SABC and SA football’s stalwart journalist Velile Mnyandu. Read the full story here.
