It’s Kaizer Chiefs again, the mighty Amakhosi are reportedly eyeing to sign Black Leopards’ 23-year-old forward Tiklas Ntshilo Thutlwa.

The right-winger, who, like most modern forwards, can also play in the left and in the center forward position, stood out with 16 goals in 30 games for Leopards last season.

“Kaizer Chiefs have re-ignited their interest in GladAfrica Championship top goalscorer Tiklas Thultwa,” Soccer Laduma reported in their latest edition.

“The Soweto giants were understood to be keen on Thultwa in the 2020/21 season, under then-coach Gavin Hunt.”

According to the report, Thultwa is currently on a contract with Leopards until 2025, but buying him out of it should not be an issue under Chiefs’ new recruitment model and ambitious rebuilding.

“According to information made available to the Siya crew, Thutlwa does have a long-term contract with Leopard that runs until June 2025, meaning that the Naturena-based side would have to folk out a transfer fee in order to land his signature,” the report added.
