Departed Kaizer Chiefs star spotted at CT City, again

A former Kaizer Chiefs attacker had been seen in Cape Town in August. It turns out he is still training under Eric Tinkler’s watch.

It’s been a bit while since Kaizer Chiefs announced the somewhat surprising news that Lebogang Manyama was leaving Naturena. The Alexandra-raised player is yet to sign a new deal.

LEBOGANG MANYAMA LEAVES KAIZER CHIEFS

As The South African website reported in July, the 32-year-old attacker was part of the exodus that included the likes of Samir Nurkovic, Leonardo Castro, Daniel Cardoso, and Kearyn Baccus.

While several of Manyama’s former teammates at Amakhosi have found new homes, the former SuperSport United and Ajax Cape Town footballer is still waiting for an offer on the table.

MANYAMA STILL TRAINING WITH CAPE TOWN CITY

Following his move to the Western Cape to look for employment at his former club City in August, reports said Manyama arrived injured.

He has now been spotted looking rather healthy during a session at Hartleyvale, as captured by the legendary Cape Town journalist Rob Delport.

It now remains to be seen if the Cape club will be making a decision to sign the player known as ‘Kaka.’
