Kaizer Chiefs linked with two number 10s

Few things are as exciting as your team signing some attacking players. Will Kaizer Chiefs sign these two 10s?

Kaizer Chiefs have some business to do after many of the squad’s attacking players failed to truly shine since August. It’s no surprise Amakhosi are linked with two attacking midfielders.

REPORTS: KAIZER CHIEFS TARGET AMAZULU AND MARUMO GALLANTS STARS

Coach Arthur Zwane did not exactly plan to rely on Keagan Dolly as his first choice number 10, this is after Khama Billiat was forced to play as a striker.

Additionally, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo is loved but still needs more goals and assists to make up for his lack of athleticism for the modern game. As for Kamohelo Mahlatsi, the Sebokeng-born wizard is yet to find his magic in a Chiefs shirt.

As The South Africa reported in the past few weeks, the Glamour Boys are thought to be eyeing Marumo Gallants’ attacking midfielder Celimphilo Ngema.

The 25-year-old caught the eye after a goal and three assists in 12 games.

In addition to Ngema, the 12-time PSL champions are reportedly targeting AmaZulu’s Sphesihle Maduna.

The 22-year-old from Watersmeet, KZN only has one goal and one assist in seven but is valued for his playing ability.

FIVE OTHER PLAYERS LINKED AMAKHOSI

Meanwhile, the 12-time league champions are linked with a couple of possible signings in the looming January transfer window.

The list of reported targets features five players but none of us expect Amakhosi to unveil five players in January. The reality is that for every target there has to be an option B or C.

Examples are Pule Mmodi or Katlego Otladisa as well as Balint Bajner or Dino Ndlovu.
