Are we being hard on Kaizer Chiefs? Well, the club’s fans continue to complain hard on social media and the streets.

Kaizer Chiefs fans will never really accept the squad’s quality and depth until Amakhosi start beating the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates to top signings.

The truth is, some battles can be won in the transfer window before teams meet on the green grass.

So let’s take a view of the best talent Amakhosi should be going for in January or next season.

The expectations are straight, a big team should sign big talent or else quietly take a seat at the back.

It is known that Sundowns almost have a limitless budget but are Chiefs really far off when you consider the sponsorships?

As for Pirates, do the Sea Robbers have a bigger bank account than Amakhosi? We don’t think so.

  1. Khanyisa Mayo, 24, winger, Cape Town City. 
  2. Pule Mmodi, 29, winger, Golden Arrows.
  3. Grant Margeman, 24, central midfielder, SuperSport United.
  4. Karim Kimvuidi, 20, attacking midfielder, Maritzburg United.
  5. Travis Graham, 29, defensive midfielder, Maritzburg United.
  6. Celimpilo Ngema, 25, attacking midfielder, Marumo Gallants.
