Reports: Chiefs and Blom take big step

Here’s something encouraging for Kaizer Chiefs and Njabulo Blom fans. Reports say the duo has taken a positive step.

Njabulo Blom leaving Kaizer Chiefs was unthinkable. The latest report does not really surprise us. What was in fact surprising were the reports linking the midfielder with Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United.

As widely reported in the past month or so, the Glamour Boys and their exciting home-grown star Blom were stuck in complicated contract talks.

It was said that Blom and his agent demanded a salary and contract that matches the 22-year-old’s massive value in the team.

According to Soccer Laduma‘s latest edition, Amakhosi and Blom have had a verbal agreement to sign a new deal.

Meanwhile, the Phefeni Glamour Boys will be back in action against Arrows on 31 December in uMlazi.
