If Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Royal AM or Cape Town City make it to the next CAF Champions League or CAF Confederation Cup, surely this is a list to look at for relevant African experience.

As we all learned with varying shock reactions, the likes of Siphiwe Tshabalala left Kaizer Chiefs in 2018 to play his football in Turkey for BB Erzurumspor.

Similar events were seen at Chloorkop around the same time and a bit later. Mamelodi Sundowns parted ways with players such as Hlompho Kekana, Wayne Arendse, and Anthony Laffor.
