Kaizer Chiefs target Yusuf Maart could result in just that, a target, before potentially ending up at Mamelodi Sundowns. We might end up saying that we’ve see this movie before.

Our most recent update said Amakhosi are yet to make a formal bid as Maart is still contracted to the club known as Babina Noko.

Unfortunately for Kaizer Chiefs, new reports claim that Sundowns have decided to target the 26-year-old Maart again. We all know what happens when Sundowns want a footballer.

“Mamelodi Sundowns are expected to re-visit their interest in Sekhukhune United and Bafana Bafana midfielder Yusuf Maart,” Soccer Laduma reported in their latest issue.

GEORGE MALULEKA TO BE INCLUDED IN A SWAP OFFER?

The report added to say that Sundowns are looking at offering their struggling midfielder George Maluleka, with Maart hopefully going the opposite way to Chloorkop.

“With Sekukhune showing interest in Downs midfielder George Maluleka, with a view of signing him at the end of the season.

“Indications from sources close to the Limpopo club are that the Brazilians could use the former Amakhosi midfielder in a swap deal to secure Maart for next season.”
