While Arthur Zwane is not yet done with his new signings, we nevertheless have something to work with regarding a possible new line-up.

Below is a hypothetical 4-2-3-1 line-up with Maart and Sithebe as the double six. Mahlatsi, Khama Billiat, and Keagan Dolly fit behind Ashley Du Preez as the lone striker.

Additionally, fellow new signing Matlou gets a place on the bench as he often was in the Swallows team last season.

We’ve selected Brandon Petersen in goal ahead of Bruce Bvuma and Itumeleng Khune simply because Peterson is a better goalkeeper, it was a bizarre decision from Zwane to drop him after a minor ‘mistake’ against Cape Town City on 30 April.

  • Brandon Petersen
  • Dillan Solomons
  • Zitha Kwinika
  • Njabulo Ngcobo
  • Sifiso Hlanti
  • Yusuf Maart
  • Siyethemba Sithebe
  • Kamohelo Mahlatsi
  • Khama Billiat
  • Keagan Dolly
  • Ashley Du Preez.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi’s first competitive game for next season will be an exciting trip to Stellenbosch FC in the MTN8 quarter-final in August.
