Kaizer Chiefs are leaving it rather late. There are just four months left but several Amakhosi stars may be in the dark regarding their futures at Naturena.

KAIZER CHIEFS YET TO DECIDE ON SIX SENIOR PLAYER CONTRACTS

Firstly there is one thing we all know, if a player is delivering the goods on the green grass, the club will offer a new contract as soon as possible.

For six Kaizer Chiefs players, the club has not moved fast to table new deals.

The same situation also suggests that Amakhosi do not fear the possibility of one or two players signing pre-contracts elsewhere.

Are the club suggesting they are willing to lose these players?

The list includes players who are all over the age of 30.

Here is the full list below, as per Soccer Laduma:

  • Bernard Parker, 35
  • Lebogang Manyama, 31
  • Daniel Akpeyi, 35
  • Daniel Cardoso, 33
  • Ramahlwe Mphahlele, 32
  • Leonard Castro, 32.

If any predictions can be made, Parker is likely to earn a new deal (based on this week’s events),  and the same can be said of Cardoso who has played nearly every single match this season.

Is it the final season for the likes of Manyama, Akpeyi, Mphahlele, and Castro? Only time will tell.
