Players move on. Kaizer Chiefs fans might have to prepare goodbyes for some of their favourite players after June 30.

FIVE PLAYERS WHO ARE MOST LIKELY TO LEAVE KAIZER CHIEFS

Daniel Akpeyi

The Nigerian is most likely on a high salary and is 35 years of age with only 12 appearances this season. The 19-year-old Karabo Molefe is set to become an understudy to Brandon Petersen, Bruce Bvuma, and Itumeleng Khune.

Ramahlwe Mphahlele

“Rama” is also most likely on a high salary and is 32 years. He’s only made six appearances. Kaizer Chiefs recently signed younger defenders such as Njabulo Ngcobo, Austin Dube, while Reeve Frosler and Njabulo Blom have blossomed in the right-back position.

Anthony Akumu

After two seasons at Naturena, the 29-year-old Kenyan has failed to force a regular starting place, with only 10 appearances in the current season.

Dumisani Zuma

Despite being a fan-favourite, the 26-year-old has fallen down the pecking order behind the likes of Keagan Dolly, Khama Billiat, Bernard Parker, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Sabelo Radebe in attack.

Larazous Kambole

The 28-year-old Zambian is one of the most sure-case departures. The former Zesco United star has only made two appearances despite being fully fit.

FROSLER SCOOPS PSL GOAL OF THE MONTH

It was a smashing goal but probably not the best nominee but Kaizer Chiefs fans are plenty and they do vote. It is what counts.

Kaizer Chiefs star Reeve Frosler has won the PSL’s February Goal of the Month, thanks to his well-driven shot in the Soweto derby against the big enemies Orlando Pirates.

As you might recall, Frosler was one of the scorers as Amakhosi downed Orlando Pirates 2-1 in the most recent Soweto derby.
