Gavin Hunt names Kaizer Chiefs’ former star as Mzansi’s best ever

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has revealed his choice for the country’s most supreme football player in history. Any quick guesses?

It being a former Chiefs player means that it can’t be the likes of Jomo Sono, Benni McCarthy, and Steven Pienaar. So maybe John Moshoeu? Doctor Khumalo? Itumeleng Khune?


During a recent chat on DiskiTalk with Luyolo on YouTube, Hunt revealed his view while trying to explain the current challenge facing Amakhosi.

While the four-time PSL champion was addressing the present and future, he found a moment to name Kaizer Chiefs’ number one great player.

There is a need to change players. Some of the players in the team have been there since the club won a trophy seven years ago. You’ve got to make a change,” Hunt said.
