Instead of placing a direct replacement for Billiat in the number 10 role, coach Zwane opted to play without a 10.
The formation meant the Glamour Boys had a three-man midfield with Njabulo Blom, Siyethemba Sithebe, and Yusuf Maart.
The three-man attack without a number 10 featured Kgaogelo Sekgota, Ashley Du Preez, and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana.
