“Those are good players, we all can agree on that. I’m all for giving opportunity to people, whether you take it or not it’s up to you.

“But I’ll give them an opportunity, I’ll treat them with a maximum level of care as I do with everyone. No matter where you come from or what age you are. I’ll give them the maximum content for them to improve, individually and collectively.

“If they grab that opportunity, it will be fantastic for us and for them. If they don’t, at least I gave them an opportunity but I’m positive that they will grab it. They’ve already been giving us a lot in terms of attitude just like everyone else in the team.

The former Marumo Gallants coach added to say that Qalinge, 31, and Ekstein 32, connect well with their teammates and staff.

“They fit into the mood nicely. They are very much ready to cooperate and work hard for the team,” the coach said.

“So, I’m pretty sure that it’s not the last time you hear from them until the end of the season,” the 32-year-old Frenchman concluded.
