Pirates stars return for Chiefs battle

Orlando Pirates visit Kaizer Chiefs in a Nedbank Cup semi-final game this weekend, with two key players returning for the game.

It’s a matchday on Saturday as Orlando Pirates visit Kaizer Chiefs for some Nedbank Cup semi-finals action, and two key Bucs players are coming back from suspension.

TWO ORLANDO PIRATES PLAYERS RETURN FOR KAIZER CHIEFS

Following Wednesday’s draw against Royal AM, accumulated yellow cards ruled out Miguel Timm in midfield, as well as Kabelo Dlamini in the number 10 role.

With the suspensions now out of the way, the Bucs duo is back to battle Amakhosi. The game is set for a 15:00 kickoff from the FNB Stadium.

SINKY MNISI TO REPLACE FLOYD MBELE?

Staying with Pirates, the club is in the middle of a major management rushuffle.

The mighty Pirates are set to welcome a new Administrative Manager, with Floyd Mbele having tended in his resignation on Monday.

As announced by the Soweto giants on Monday, the Sea Robbers confirmed the departure of Football Administrator Floyd Mbele.

“Orlando Pirates has accepted the resignation of the club’s Administration Manager, Mr Floyd Mbele. The Club Management wishes him the best in his future endeavours,” Pirates said on the club’s website.

As previously reported by the South African website in March, local outlet Unplayable shared an exclusive audio where the former Highlands Park and Royal AM executive, Sinky Mnisi, claimed he is heading to the Sea Robbers.
