ERNST MIDDENDORP POINTS FINGERS AT MATHOHO AND KHUNE

Chatting to the media after the release of his new book Resilience this week, the German coach revealed what we can expect.

One of the snippets revolves around the astonishing fall Chiefs suffered on the cusp of the league.

“The book is not about insulting individuals but stating facts,” Middendorp said on Marawa Sports Worldwide, as quoted by Kick Off.

“The circumstances at-hand were that some players were before when we went into the bubble.

“Some players went out to do nonsense and you guys have Mathoho (Mulomowandau) and Itumeleng Khune along W partying but none of you guys ever spoke about it.

“There was nobody who could replace (Lebogang) Manyama, George Maluleka every three days. No chance.

“Mathoho was totally flat in the bubble and as a coach, there are fact you can’t influence and we ended up second,” Middendorp added.
