The game will be on Friday at 20:00 from the Harry Gwala Stadium.

As a build-up to the game, Maritzburg’s coach Davids believes poor consistency is not a Chiefs problem but the PSL as a whole.

“They’re a very good team; I don’t think we should take away what coach Arthur [Zwane] has done,” Davids said via FARPost.

“They’ve gotten through a bit of a slump and not a big slump, it’s just not consistent results.

“But it’s not only Kaizer Chiefs’ problem, it’s the entire league besides number one in the league. But the entire rest of the league is inconsistent.

“So, I don’t think you should press down Kaizer Chiefs in any way, they’re a very good team. If you analyse their matches, of course, what you do, you realise what the coach is trying to implement.

“Not really getting the results at a consistent level but I think good performances, not really scoring the goals that they create.

“So, we don’t take them lightly, we give them the respect they deserve and I think we’ve got to commend them for the work they’re doing,” Davids added.
