KAIZER CHIEFS STAR KHUNE TEXTS MAMELODI SUNDOWNS’ RONWEN WILLIAMS

Following Khune’s career dip in the past three seasons, Sundowns’ Williams stepped up to help himself to the Bafana Bafana jersey number one opportunity.

With the national jersey being the highest honour in any country, what has Khune made of watching Williams take over from him?

According to the 35-year-old Chiefs veteran, he sent Williams his blessings with a text message.

“I remember giving Ronwen Williams my blessings to say I made a lot of goalkeepers retire…” Khune said on Velile Mnyandu’s YouTube channel.
