SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt has named Kaizer Chiefs’ former midfielder Jabulani Mendu as his best midfielder.

Some time before winning four league titles with SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits, Hunt was once a Moroka Swallows coach where he worked with Mendu as his central midfielder.

While sharing his ultimate 11 after over 20 years coaching in the PSL, Hunt explained why Mendu would captain his best 11.

“He [Jabulani Mendu] walked the talk. He said a lot and delivered,” Hunt told DiskiTalk With Luyolo on YouTube.

“He was not a hard-runner but his football intelligence was amazing.

“He never lost the ball. He made 40 and 5-yard passes. He glued everything together. He talked and organised people. He talked, he talked,” Hunt concluded.
