Gavin Hunt names three ex-Chiefs players in his best 11

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has coached in the PSL for over 30 years and won four league titles, who just doesn’t want to see his best ever 11?

KAIZER CHIEFS LEGENDS INCLUDED IN GAVIN HUNT’S BEST 11

While having a reflective chat in the media in recent months, Hunt was simply asked to share the best-ever talent he has coached in a team of 11.

The list includes a few former league champions with Chiefs, though the trio only worked with Hunt at SuperSport United (Morgan Gould and David Kennemeyer, while Jabulani Mendu was his midfielder at Moroka Swallows.

Andre Arendse, Nazier Allie, Thulani Hlwatshwayo, Morgan Gould, David Kennemeyer, Jabulani Mendu, Brent Carelse, Elias Pelembe, Daine Klate, Benni McCarthy, Glen Salmon.

Hunt said: “This team is about consistency. Consistency is the biggest problem is SA football. These are not players who gave you a 9/10 and the next game it’s a 4/10. These players gave you 8/10 in every match. Consistency, consistency.”
